Street dogs have very difficult lives. They live on their own, wandering the streets and difficult is the day they find something to satisfy their hunger. They are abused, neglected and mistreated, as if their lives on the streets were not bad enough. What is happening in the cities of Siah Estalakh-e Saqad ol Molk in Iran, has gone beyond the bounds of cruelty. They capture the poor dogs from the streets and moor in a spot on the outskirts of the city to die of hunger and thirst. To close the problem, the authorities decided to go with the cruelest approach to dealing with these poor, helpless dogs. An inhuman way of ending the street dog population, tying them up and letting them all starve to death. Some animal rights activists have gotten some photos to show the world the cruelties that have been occurring with the poor dogs in these two cities. As Mahatma Gandhi said, "The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated." In a country there is no law on animal rights, there are no laws against animal abuse, it shows that these defenseless lives have no value for these people, for these rulers. Let's help these poor dogs by sharing their story.
